Our Story

Injured Call HD was founded by Kaitlynn and Joseph, a husband and wife team who turned their personal hardships into a mission to help others. After experiencing the aftermath of car accidents themselves, they faced the challenges of finding reliable medical care. This inspired them to create a service that bridges the gap between accident victims and high-quality medical providers.

Their firsthand experiences, combined with their professional connections, have empowered them to assist many clients in getting the necessary medical care during critical moments. Kaitlynn and Joe are committed to making a positive impact and ensuring that no one has to navigate the aftermath of a car accident alone.

Meet The Team

Kaitlynn Huerta, JD

CEO

Kaitlynn Huerta, JD, was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and is deeply passionate about helping injured patients. From humble beginnings, Kaitlynn worked her way through law school and attended Harvard Business School executive education. This was in direct pursuit of sharpening her skills as the Chief Executive Office of Injured Call HD. After experiencing a brain injury from an accident she was in, she dedicated herself to advocating for others in a unique and empathetic way. Kaitlynn ensures that patients find the right medical doctors and receive the proper treatment they deserve. Working with a select group of exceptional doctors throughout Florida, Kaitlynn and her team are committed to meeting all your needs.

Additional, Kaitlynn enjoys working alongside her husband and business partner. They enjoy traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, philanthropy, watching sports and building this business to one day be a household name. Kaitlynn holds a Juris Doctorate Degree and is not licensed as an attorney in the State of Florida.

Joseph Huerta

CFO

Joseph Huerta's life took a pivotal turn in 2020 when he was involved in a motor vehicle accident. This personal experience exposed him to the significant flaws in the medical care system for accident victims. At that time, Joseph was thriving as a Manager for Small Business and Consumer Field Marketing at a Fortune 500 company. With over ten years of marketing experience, he had established himself as a dedicated leader, earning a place in the prestigious “Circle of Excellence” and completing executive leadership courses. However, his passion for helping others and his profound empathy for those suffering from similar experiences compelled him to make a significant career change. Driven by a deep commitment to improve the medical care experience for car accident patients, Joseph transitioned to a full-time role dedicated to assisting these individuals.

On a personal note, Joseph counts his blessings each day he gets to work alongside his soulmate Kaitlynn. He loves traveling, watching sports, eating and spending time with friends and family. He is now devoted to ensuring that patients receive the compassionate and effective care they deserve, striving to provide a better experience than the one he endured.

Sully Diaz

Regional Account Executive

With a keen eye for identifying and researching target audiences, Sully specializes in creating customer awareness and fostering strong relationships through effective marketing strategies. Sully excels in internal communication, ensuring seamless collaboration with the team. Outside the office, Sully is a dedicated mother to four children, actively involved in their recreational and travel baseball and volleyball activities. She also volunteers her time coaching youth sports at the local YMCA, contributing to the Pasco County community.

Kristen Cordell

Account Executive

Kristen Cordell, a Tampa native, is pursuing her passion for marketing through her studies and is currently enrolled at HCC Hillsborough Community College. On her time away from Injured Call HD, Kristen works part-time at Bo’s Ice Cream, where she enjoys serving her community with the best ice cream in town. Kristen is also dedicated to helping revolutionize healthcare with Injured Call HD as one of our Account executives. She loves to spend time with family and watch scary movies!

Katelynn Shields

Account Executive

Katelynn Shields, a Florida native, is passionate about family and loves spending time with her twin sister, nieces, and nephews. She serves the Orlando area through injured call HD, works part-time as a Starbucks barista, and is pursuing a degree in psychology. She is very passionate about helping people and advocating for those who are injured!
